HTC HD2 NAND Toolkit v4.2.0.1 – Toolkit for HD2

Please Do Not Modify/Rename/Delete Any Files From The Program Files Directory! Doing So Might Brick Your Device!!!
Hello XDA Users / HD2 Owners,
This is an All in One Toolkit for HTC HD2 NAND Users. The main purpose of this toolkit is to simplify many complex tools/guides which are difficult or unsafe to use. As we all know that HD2 has got a powerful hardware base, but the pre-packed Windows Mobile operating system just ruins all the fun of having a device with high specs. So, developers on XDA like codesmith and Cotulla have created alternative bootloaders which can load Android kernels so that we can use Google’s Android operating system on our devices. This tool will help you install those bootloaders, and also do many other customization/modding works easily from one control panel. Here are the main features of the Toolkit:
Simplifies Installation of cLK and MAGLDR (Android Bootloaders)
Simplifies Installing Roms, Radios, SPL’s and other things by letting you install NBH Files with one click
Makes it easier to Re-Partition your Android Phone
Makes it easier to install Reicvery
Automates process of flashing NBH Files
Well, those were just the main highlights of the tool. There are a lots of other numerous features that will let you easily do many complex stuff. After lots of nights without sleep and red eyes, i have finally made this small piece of software able to do most things that a normal HD2 NAND Android would want to do easily.
Current Version: 4.2.0.1
Current Recovery Version: 5.0.2.6
Last Update: 6/15/2011
Latest HighLights
Installer
Express Mode – Express Mode enables you to automatically do a lots of stuff automatically. Just check the Express Tools button and try to use the features mentioned on the msgbox
NBH File Handler – Easily install nbh files by just opening it like a normal file
About The Software
Hd2 Toolkit is the result of a lots of nights of work with help from recognized developers such as arif-ali, seadersn and others. I have tried my best to make the software as user friendly and powerful as possible. I really appreciate the fact that you guys are using and loving this little software i made. At first, i made a tool that was intended to make it easier to repartition MAGLDR bootloader. Then gradually you guys started using it and started suggesting more and more features which i implemented as soon as i could. Version after version, i started to add new new features you guys suggested and soon i changed the name to ClockworkMod Installer. After few versions of developement, and bug reporting from T-Macgnolia, i finally added support for cLK bootloader. Then after adding a lot more features you guys suggested, i changed the name again, and this time to a name that makes broader sense, HD2 Toolkit. I will keep on updating this tool as frequently as i can. I hope you guys will like this tool. Any suggestions, comments, questions, bug reports or anything related to this tool are welcome. Thanks to mods who made this post a sticky

Odin Guide on How to Flash and Install stock ROM Firmware on Samsung Galaxy Y S5360

How to use Odin in flashing the stock ROM on Samsung Galaxy Y S5360?

Here's the procedure on how to manually install the stock ROM (firmware) on Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360. Flashing stock ROMs is useful in downgrading or upgrading to any available firmware versions you desired. This has been also useful for unbricking purposes for a bricked, reverting back to original stock or if you needed your device warranty back.

This guide is a bit risky for beginners and can only be used by advance users who already had a little bit experience on how to tweak android devices firmware.
Now, this procedure is no joke and should be taken seriously  for it might results to damage your phone if some mistakes might happen. We are talking about firmware flashing here, one false move or any interruption will take your device into serious situation that is not too easy to recover.Your phone is not a toy for us, but it is your personal property, you are the only one who can decide on what to do about it.

Disclaimer: We shall not be held not responsible if anything happens to your device by following this guide. Proceed at your own risk!
Needed files and tools
Stock ROM - See list of Samsung Galaxy Y stock ROMs (extract it after downloading)
Odin Multi-downloader -
PIT file - Tottoro.pit (Only needed for full flashing)
Driver - You need to install Kies to get the driver of your phone.
USB cable - use the supplied USB cable of your Galaxy Y.
PC or laptop - running on Windows or later OS.
Your Phone - Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360

Preparation before Flashing
Back-up all of your important data stored in the phone like contacts, messages and etc. Flashing will wipe and delete all of it.
Ensure that your phone is fully charge or above 50% charge. (If your phone had an auto-shutdown history, and its too old, use a newer or good working battery.
Remove the SIM card and the external memory card. (not necessarily but recommended to avoid any certain issues)
Hard Reset - We often do hard reset before flashing to clean the memory cache of the phone. Master reset code *2767*3855# .

ODIN Flashing Procedures for Samsung S5360 Galaxy Y
1. Run the ODIN Downloader on your PC desktop.
2. Load the firmware binary files on each designated button spaces.

How to Flash with Multiples files with Pit, Bootloader, PDA, Phone and CSC
This is full flashing and useful for unbricking for it has a full packaged with individual file allocations, this type of files we often used to fix a bricked Samsung Android devices. Some firmware updates have like this one and some are came into just a single file packaged.

Click on each button and load the appropiate file unto it.
Pit Button - the tottoro.pit is the default repartition file for Samsung Galaxy Y S5360

Bootloader - look for the file with the letter Boot,
like DefaultCalDataWithBoot_S5360XXXXX_REV05.tar.md5

PDA button - look for the file with the letters PDA on it,
like PDA_S5360XXXXX_REV05.tar.md5

PHONE button- look with the word MODEM file,
like MODEM_S5360XXXXX_REV05.tar.md5

CSC button - associated also with letters CSC or Multi_CSC,
like GT-S5360-MULTI-CSC-OXXXXX.tar.md5

There are three checkboxes on the left side of ODIN, the Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time.
The Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time are often always checked in flashing while the Re-Partition will only be checked if you want to fix the memory partition of the phone, now if you'll only want to upgrade or downgrade DO NOT CHECK THE REPARTITION.

Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 firmware update Odin flashing

How to Flash Without Bootloader and PIT file?
Flashing with pit and bootloader file is quite enough risky but a little more safer than without it.
It's the same as the above method just load the PDA, MODEM/phone and CSC file to each designated boxes. The "Repartition" checkbox is not to be check, only the Auto-Reboot and F,Reset Time got the checks

How to Flash with Only Single file?
Some files came only in a single packed like with tar.md5 file extension., and sometimes a 'SS_DL.dll' file also included on it. Others are confused where to put this file. Well, the S5360XXXXX_S5360XXXXX_S5360XXXXX_HOME.tar.md5 goes on to the PDA button section while the 'DLL' file in not to be used, it only be used on some other issues.
Again the "Repartition" check-box is not to be tick, only the Auto-Reboot and F.Reset Time are checked.
